Electron Microscopy is in our blood! We recently had the privilege of accompanying scientists from a forensic laboratory in the UAE for overseas training on their SEM systems.
They’ve been utilizing their current electron microscope, installed by Link Gulf engineers, for the past 4 years. So, a refresher course was needed to bring them up to date on the latest advances with the system.
To understand cells, proteins, and DNA, scientists are now actively using scanning electron microscopy to directly visualize surface structures of cells and macro-molecules at nanometer resolution. Link Gulf supply SEM systems from COXEM, who develop their leading scanning electron microscopes to investigate morphological structures of biological specimens.
The data acquired can provide valuable insights into scientists in leading research labs and hospitals, as well as professors and students in universities.
