Xsens Awinda delivers motion capture through 17 wireless sensors, which you attach to the body using adjustable straps. Because the system supports fast, easy, and reliable capture, you can quickly record regular motions or switch between multiple actors.
Moreover, the system offers a range of up to 50 meters, so you can apply it across diverse fields. For example, professionals use it in occupational health and safety, rehabilitation, injury prevention, animation, entertainment, biomechanics, and human factor research.
In addition, you can wear the sensors comfortably over clothing, which makes the setup even more flexible.
Inertial motion capture works by attaching sensors directly to the body to record movement. However, that represents only part of the solution. To complete a motion capture system, you also need powerful hardware and software working together seamlessly.
