Qualisys Active Traqr

The Qualisys Active Traqr is a compact and lightweight trackable object, also known as a target. Traqr provides accurate and stable positional and orientational information about the object or body part to which it is attached. Get accurate and stable positional and orientational information with our active and passive rigid bodies.

The Power of Active

The Traqr is plated with four active markers. Active targets emit light, rather than reflect light, allowing tracking of 100+ targets without the need for unique marker patterns. Sequence coding of the individual markers enables the system to distinguish them from each other, resulting in stable and trouble-free target identification.

Key Features
  • Automatically track with active rigid bodies

  • Use the bare-bones version for embedding into props or objects

  • Enable full-body tracking through end-effector skeleton solving in QTM

  • Combine both passive and active Traqrs for flexible workflows

  • Mount easily on nearly any object with versatile accessories

The Qualisys Active Traqr delivers powerful, precise tracking in a compact and lightweight form. Also called a target, the Traqr actively provides accurate and stable positional and orientational data for any attached object or body part. By combining both active and passive rigid bodies, you can achieve even greater tracking accuracy and reliability.

The Power of Active Tracking

The Traqr integrates four active markers. Unlike passive targets that merely reflect light, active markers emit light, which allows you to track more than 100 targets at once without requiring unique marker patterns. Furthermore, the system uses sequence coding to differentiate between markers, ensuring smooth, stable, and error-free target identification.

Built for Performance and Flexibility

The Active Traqr includes a screw mount and a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 20 hours on a single charge. You can easily recharge it with a standard USB-C charger (not included).

In addition, you can track virtually any object with the bare-bones Traqr—a circuit board designed for embedding directly into props and devices. Thanks to a wide selection of mounting accessories, you can securely attach the Traqr to almost any object with minimal effort.

A Complete Tracking Ecosystem

The Traqr ecosystem equips you with everything needed for your (LB)VR project, from body tracking to head-mounted display (HMD) solutions. Each component integrates seamlessly, making setup and use straightforward.
