X-Sight 2000 Series extensometer MODES

The X-Sight 2000 Series Extensometer is distinguished by its versatile operational modes. These modes accommodate a broad spectrum of measurement needs in material testing. It allows users to combine multiple units, significantly broadening the field of view.

• Single Mode: The most common setup. Multiple single cameras can be used simultaneously.
• Joined Mode: Incorporates identical Fields of View (FoV), enabling smooth movement of a point across cameras. For specimens that are longer or exhibit significant elongation, we recommend our 4000 series extensometer.
• Dual FoV Mode: An uncommon setup characterised by varying resolutions.
• Separated FoV Mode: This mode is designed for long specimens with relatively small extensions or deformations.

X-Sight 2106 – ASTM-focused Video Extensometer

The X-Sight-2106 is a cost-effective video extensometer for ASTM testing. It features a 6MPx camera and, unlike other 2000 series models, omits the relay, making it more affordable. The compact design allows for easy mounting on a testing machine or tripod, and it includes an interchangeable lens for versatility in different testing scenarios.
