X-Sight Wireless Sync
The X-Sight Synchron (often referenced in wireless contexts as the wifisync variant) is a dedicated hardware triggering and phase synchronisation device. It is used to align high-precision, non-contact video extensometers and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) systems. Additionally, it works with external dynamic testing equipment.

Phase Synchronisation: The device is specifically engineered for synchronising optical measurement systems with harmonic analogue signals ranging from 5 to 200 Hz.
This makes it highly effective for cyclic, fatigue, or dynamic material testing. In these cases, camera frames must perfectly match the peak or phase of a mechanical load.
In optical strain measurement, even a microsecond of mismatch between the physical load applied by a machine and the image captured by a video extensometer can cause severe data errors.
The Synchron device removes this latency. As a result, the Alpha DIC software captures deformation data at the exact intended interval of the stress cycle.
