GNSS Systems

GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) refers to a network of satellites orbiting Earth that broadcast precise positioning and timing data. Devices with GNSS receivers triangulate their exact location by calculating the travel time of signals from at least four satellites.

Modern receivers utilise “Multi-GNSS” technology, meaning they track satellites across multiple constellations (e.g., GPS + Galileo) simultaneously. This grants faster connection times, better availability of satellites in deep urban “canyons,” and high resilience against signal disruption.
