SHINE Mineral and Rocks Edition

SHINE portable X-Ray diffractometer (Mineral and Rocks Edition) is a portable X-Ray diffractometer specially developed for mineral phase analysis in the field. It integrates XRD, XRF, computer software and other technologies. As a result, it can quickly conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, crystal structure analysis, material structure analysis and crystallinity determination of mineral samples.

It has the advantages of fast testing speed, low price and high precision.

SHINE in the X-ray beam through the sample position uses transmission geometry technology. The micro-focus X-ray tube emits an X-Ray beam through the collimator, which irradiates powder particles in the sample pool. Furthermore, the unique vibration system allows more of the crystal powder particles to be exposed to the X-Ray beam. When they meet Bragg’s law on the CCD, a diffraction phenomenon and pattern are acquired.

The sample size in the sample pool is fixed. Therefore, changes in sample density do not affect the resolution. This feature is especially important for low-density materials, such as drug samples. With fixed penetration, higher resolution can be achieved compared to instruments based on reflective geometry.

Integration

XRD and XRF technology integration allows each test to simultaneously collect XRD and XRF X-Ray photon data. This provides material composition, phase and structure information. Consequently, it can promote more accurate test results.

Instrument one-key operation, no correction, and automatic detection are provided. No extra attention is required to the high pressure system and water circulation cooling system.

Sample preparation is simple

A single analysis only needs about 20 mg of samples to obtain high-quality test results. Moreover, sample preparation does not require making, pressing, or scraping equality. It takes only 3 minutes to complete sample preparation (crushing, screening, sample loading).

Data transmission

The instrument through USB, Bluetooth, WIFI and laptop computer to achieve high-speed connection, real-time SHINE instrument control and phase analysis.
